SKI-AID An initiative run by Moses Onlus and the ski instructors of M.di Campiglio and Rendena valley, with the collaboration of the Societa’ Funivie (Cablecar companies), the sponsorship of Pinzolo Town Council and the Tourism Agency. In Madonna di Campiglio, “Io scio col cuore” (“I ski with heart“) intends to bring together residents and visitors in a pro-active campaign. As well as the sport and recreation of skiing, everyone can help protect “the unseen” Burmese children from abuse, violence and hunger, and give them the chance to be children once again. These Burmese children have little choice but to struggle every day just to survive in a harsh and forgotten land, where millions of people live with no rights and no dignity. You can help them by making a donation, or by dropping your used Ski Pass in our collection boxes found at the ski schools, the cablecar ticket offices, and in participating hotels and local businesses.
Drop your used ski pass in the nearest box!!!
You will be helping a mother to feed her child, to send that child to school and to put a smile back on that child’s face. Your simple gesture means help, refuge and protection for a child who cannot be sure if tomorrow will come. There are many questions to ask. What help and intervention can be given? What type of projects can be undertaken? Who is undertaking these projects? How are the funds managed? If you are already asking yourself these questions, then you are halfway to understanding what this initiative is hoping to achieve.
