…we bring you at U WAY KLO… in the JUNGLE of the Karen State (Myanmar) where there are schools that nobody knows that they exist… Moses Onlus intervened directly to offer education, protection, and toilets. For the #Giving Tuesday we would like to refurbish the toilets to allow the little students a decent access to cleanliness and personal care. The project is about the construction of 4 collection wells and toiles, 1 building for the teachers, and warehouses. The cost totals €4,800.
We bring you at U WAY KLO… in the JUNGLE of the Karen State (Myanmar) where in 2007 Moses Onlus contributed to the foundation of the IDP Camp (Internally Displaced Persons Camp), made of Karen refugees escaping the repression from the Burma regime. Moses took care of the construction of school rooms, common rooms, toilets, and hostels for lonely children.
Moses also organized and managed school activities for 230 children and 25 teachers.
WE ARE IN THE JUNGLE and the buildings, with concrete basements and bamboo walls, deteriorate rapidly following the weather conditions, with very high temperature followed by long rainy periods. The objective of Moses Onlus is to collect funds for the construction of 4 collection wells, and toilets of the max size of 2,5×3,5 meters and 2,5 meters high; 1 building for the teachers; 2-story warehouses of the size of 8×5 meters and 5,5 meters high. The cost totals €4,800.
This intervention will dramatically improve the hygienic conditions of 220 children and an overall better health for the entire Community.
We count on you to achieve together this important target!
